Prolepsis Institute: Call for Humanitarian Aid
Greece is one of the Member States most impacted by the unprecedented refugee crisis facing Europe. According to UNHCR, more than 790,000 third country nationals have arrived in Greece in 2015. Prolepsis Institute responds to the emergency situation that has been created by the refugee flows and asylum seekers and undertakes action in camps and open accommodation structures with the aim of providing refugees with some relief.

The DIATROFI Program participates at the Christmas festival for children organized by 4moms.gr at the forecourt of the Piraeus Municipal Theatre on December 20, at 11:00 a.m. with the support of the Municipality of Piraeus. Children can decorate the wish tree, make Christmas cards and enjoy singing and dancing with their favorite band “XANAZOO”.

The Program DIATROFI is ongoing in remote and rural areas for the current school year
December 14, 2015, 50.000 meals free of charge offered to 1.030 students in 13 schools of vulnerable socio-economic areas in the regional units of Xanthi, Rodopi and Emathia will be distributed by the end of January 2016 under the project “Program on Food Aid and Promotion of Healthy Nutrition-DIATROFI: Implementation in remote and rural areas”.
