ASSET Project: Best Practice Award for General Practitioners
The ASSET project will award health professionals in the primary health sector (GPs or groups of GPs) who have best included Science in Society (SiS) aspects in order to improve the quality of communication about epidemics and pandemics with their patients and more importantly with the local communities.
The “World in Harmony” supports the DIATROFI Program
We would like to thank the non-profit organization “World in Harmony” for supporting the DIATROFI Program. With the donation offered by the “World in Harmony”, 2 additional schools with 450 students will participate in the DIATROFI Program the current school year.
Greeks in Frankfurt support the DIATROFI Program
Actions for reinforcing the program DIATROFI are carried out by Greek expatriates in Frankfurt. Mrs. Anneta Kourti, language teacher, actively participates in our efforts to combat food insecurity and hunger of children in Greece. Mrs Kourti has taken the initiative to inform local associations of Greek expatriates in Germany as well as Germans about the program DIATROFI and to coordinate actions to support it.
Prolepsis Institute participates in the pilot program “I am in” to reduce school dropout
Prolepsis Institute participates as a partner in the pilot program “I am in” which aims to reduce student dropout rates. The program has been designed by the association “Together for children” with the scientific support of the organization “MERIMNA” and in partnership with the Center for Research and Practice of School Psychology of the University of Athens and a group of volunteer teachers from the 2nd Experimental High School of Athens.
