Prolepsis participates as a Country Agent in the new European project MOCHA - Models of Child Health Appraised. MOCHA started in October 2015; it is a three-year project and is implemented under the EU Research and Innovation program - Horizon 2020.

Findings of the program DIATROFI presented in the conference “Fragmentation and Exclusion, Understanding and Overcoming the multiple Impacts of the Crisis” (FRAGMEX).

Prolepsis Institute participated in the conference organized by the Crisis Observatory of the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP) on November 25 at Impact Hub in Athens in the context of the research program FRAGMEX “Fragmentation and Exclusion: Understanding and Overcoming the multiple Impacts of the Crisis”.

The European Policy Brief for the IROHLA Project

The main aim of the project IROHLA has been to develop guidelines for policy and practice to improve health literacy of the aging population.

Prolepsis Institute works on improving health literacy for Older Adults

The innovative initiatives taken by Prolepsis Institute to improve health literacy for older adults, and the guidelines of the project “IROHLA – Intervention Research on Health Literacy among aging Population” which has been developed due to the challenges and the particular circumstances created by the aging population in E.U. countries, were presented on Tuesday, November 24, at an informative event held at the premises of Prolepsis Institute.

20 November 2015: Prolepsis Institute supports Universal Children’s Day

The Universal Children’s Day, established by the United Nations in 1954, is celebrated on November 20 each year with a view to promote the welfare of children around the world and fraternity and understanding between them. On the occasion of the Universal Children’s Day, Prolepsis Institute highlights the need to ensure the physical and mental health of all children and to provide a living friendly environment for them.

The kindergarten Playland supports the DIATROFI Program

The nursery and kindergarten PLAYLAND, located in Varkiza since 1983, supports the DIATROFI Program and encourages the purchase of the Program’s educational material by parents of PLAYLAND’S students. In this way, PLAYLAND becomes an active member to the campaign “NO MORE HUNGRY CHILDREN AT SCHOOL” aiming to benefit as many children as possible through the DIATOFI Program.
