Editorial: “hυgeίa@εργασiα & παχυσαρκία”
Obesity and its consequences was the subject of Prof Linos’ editorial hosted by the journal hυgeίa@εργασiα, issue 3 (September-December 2010). The magazine is the scientific edition of the Hellenic Society of Occupational and Environmental Medicine in association with the Program of Postgraduate Studies Health and Safety in Workplaces.
“Promovax” was presented in ECDC Workshop on regional synergies for immunization in hard-to-reach population groups
“Promovax” project representatives were invited to participate in the ECDC workshop in Sophia, Bulgaria, on 21-22 September and give an update on the project´s progress. The overall aim of the workshop was to promote regional collaboration for activities in the field of immunization among marginalized and hard-to-reach high risk populations.

Prolepsis was present at the International conference on rural health “From Transition to a Sustainable Development Healthy Farmers producing Healthy Food in a Healthy Environment” which was held in Tirana, Albania, from the 22nd to the 25th of September 2010.

Two European projects planned and implemented by Prolepsis were presented at the 20th International Conference on Health Promotion organized by the International Union for Health Promotion and Education in Geneva from the 11th to the 15th of July 2010.

Goodbye Dimitris
It is with deep sorrow we announce the untimely loss of our dear friend and colleague Dimitris Kouimintzis. Dimitris, an Occupational Medicine Specialist trainee, distinguished graduate of our postgraduate program and a brilliant researcher always stood out with his ingenuity and restless spirit. He was equipped with all the qualifications for an excellent career and many distinctions in the workplace.
