eu: School on Science in Society, issues in Pandemics
As part of the EU-funded project ASSET, we are pleased to announce: The First Summer School on Science in Society related to issues in Pandemics. Pandemics and other infectious disease (ID) crises impact on mortality/morbidity as well as on socio-economic aspects. Such characterisation requires multi-disciplinary approaches to be developed in the First ASSET Summer School that will cover several key related issues:
Prolepsis Institute distributed 3.6 tons of peaches
Prolepsis Institute distributed 3.6 tons of peaches on Thursday 27/8 within the framework of the Social Partnership “Amaltheia”, an initiative by the Municipality of Amaroussion. This action forms part of the Commission Delegated Regulation No 1031/2014 which provides support measures for producers of certain fruit and vegetables and also of the Joint Ministerial Decision (Ref. Number 3320/89565) issued by the competent ministries of Rural Development and of Labor & Social Security.

Global Sustain presents Prolepsis Institute in the international Yearbook series and lists the Institute’s work among the most significant actions and initiatives for the year 2014-2015 on issues related to sustainability. The international publication, entitled The Power of Collaboration, is dedicated this year to the potential and the power of collaborations.
