Invitation to the ADD-freeTraining European Symposium: Prevention of addictions among children and adolescents with the involvement of family and school

You are cordially invited to the “ADD-freeTraining European Symposium: Prevention of addictions among children and adolescents with the involvement of family and school”. The symposium is organized by Prolepsis Institute and will be held at Hotel NOVOTEL Athens (4, Michail Voda Str, Athina 104 39) on Thursday, 6th October 2022, 14:00 – 17:30 CET.

The European Symposium will showcase the project’s results regarding the prevention of smoking, alcohol consumption and problematic internet use among children and adolescents. Furthermore, the consortium will present the innovative online educational platform aimed at parents, teachers and adult educators, etc. The educational platform includes specialized modules focusing on the involvement of family, parents and the school environment in the prevention of addiction in childhood and adolescence, with an emphasis on interactive and experiential activities.

The speakers include specialized scientists and representatives of academia from the consortium countries.

ADD-freeTraining: “Preventing Smoking, Alcohol and Internet addictions among children and adolescents: a family oriented training approach for adult learners and educators” is a three-year project funded by the ERASMUS+ Programme of the European Union. The program’s consortium consists of 6 organizations from 5 countries: Idryma Ormylia (Project Coordinator, Greece), Prolepsis Institute (Greece), Bulgaria Youth Prevention (Bulgaria), Pilar Institute (Croatia), CSI – Center for Social Innovation LTD (Cyprus) and the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Medicine (Serbia).
