The effects of environmental and dietary factors on the development, histology and prognosis of thyroid cancer, 1992
This case control study aimed at examining several risk factors related to the development histology and prognosis of thyroid cancer. A set of 113 confirmed thyroid cancer cases hospitalized in various hospitals in the greater Athens area was interviewed based on a questionnaire specifically designed for the study. Similarly, information on demographic, socioeconomic and medical history factors was collected from 138 healthy controls and controls suffering from 286 benign cases of thyroid.
