Education of the general public with regards to ultraviolet radiation exposure risks

The main objective of this programme was the dissemination of information regarding the risks of exposure to ultraviolet radiation and the need to take protective measures. Targeting local and European vacationers in the coasts of Greece, campaign material (audiovisual, pamphlets, etc) was developed and two-day campaigns were organised. A small cruise ship was rented and travelled through Aegean and Ionian islands distributing the information material. Approximately 50.000 people were reached and informed.
