Breast cancer with emphasis on mammographically detected lesions, 1995 > European Guidelines, chapter on Surgical Quality Assurance in Mammography Screening, Luxembourg, 2000
The aim of this project was to reach a consensus on management of small screen detected breast cancer lesions by the surgical societies in European Member States and produce a manuscript which could be incorporated in the updated version of the European Guidelines for Quality Assurance in Mammography Screening. The working group of the project that included representatives of all European Surgical Societies developed the first European surgical guidelines for the management of small breast cancer lesions.
