AGRIMED C – AGRIculture Management EDucation Towards Climate Resilience
Prolepsis Institute participates as a partner in the Erasmus+ project AGRIculture Management EDucation Towards Climate Resilience (AGRIMED C), implemented under the KA220-VET Cooperation Partnerships in Vocational Education and Training action. The project runs from October 2025 to September 2028, coordinated by the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), and brings together academic, public health, and environmental organizations from Sweden, Belgium, and Greece.
AGRIMED C aims to strengthen the capacity of young and future professionals in veterinary, agricultural, and environmental sciences to adopt sustainable and climate-resilient agriculture management strategies under the One Health approach. By promoting a shift from an individual-animal to a herd-level perspective, the project supports the EU’s priorities for environmental sustainability, climate action, and public health resilience.
Through co-creation and interdisciplinary collaboration, the project will design an innovative training curriculum combining veterinary medicine, public health, environmental science, and digital technology. The curriculum will be delivered via an interactive e-learning platform featuring AI-driven scenarios, gamification, and micro-credentials, making it accessible and engaging for learners across Europe.
Key activities include:
- Development of a Training Methodology Framework and curriculum co-created with educators, students, and stakeholders.
- Creation of an open-access multilingual e-learning platform in English, Greek, Swedish, and French.
- A “Train-the-Trainer” workshop for educators and pilot testing with at least 100 young professionals.
- Publication of policy recommendations to integrate sustainable and climate-resilient agriculture management practices into vocational education.
The AGRIMED C partnership consists of 5 organizations from 3 European countries, including Belgium, Sweden, and Greece:
- SWEDISH UNIVERSITY OF AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES, Sweden
- GREEN4GEOWTH srl, Belgium
