The Prolepsis Institute participated in the 5th meeting of the European PREVENT program in Barcelona

On July 6–7, Prolepsis Institute joined the 5th plenary meeting of the PREVENT project in Barcelona.

PREVENT is an EU-funded initiative working to improve and upscale primary cancer prevention by tackling childhood obesity.

As partner in the project, Prolepsis Institute contributes to the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the PREVENT pilot program in Greece — reaching more than 2,000 students and their families.

At the meeting, our Scientific Coordinator, Dr Matina Kouvari, joined representatives from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (Project Coordinator) and the Greek Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sport to discuss the pilot’s progress, key challenges, and next steps for sustainability.
