Τhe Program on Food Aid and Promotion of Healthy Nutrition in the Sunday edition of newspaper “ To Vima”

The Program on Food Aid and Promotion of Healthy Nutrition implemented in Greek public schools by Prolepsis Institute with the donation of Stavros Niarchos Foundation is presented in the Sunday edition of the newspaper “To Vima” (May 19, 2013).   

Theme of the article is the Program on Food Aid and Promotion of Healthy Nutrition which is implemented in 159 schools of 24,871 students. Additionally, the issue of food insecurity is presented according to the most recent data that we have collected which shows that food insecurity is experienced by the majority of families participating in the Program. The success of the Program is also presented through the positive response of students, parents and teachers of the participating schools.
