Prolepsis hosting a Director’s Intern from the Institute of Politics, Harvard University
Prolepsis joined this summer, for the first time, the Director’s Internship Program, organized by the Institute of Politics of Harvard University. Every summer since 1995, the Institute of Politics has offered career-oriented internships for undergraduate students interested in politics, government, and public service in high-profile organizations around the world. Students usually complete 8-10 weeks of full-time work.
It was an honor for Prolepsis to be selected among the organizations to participate in the Director’s Internship Program, while numerous students were interested in working with our Institute.
Our participation in this program was a rewarding and fruitful experience for both our organization and young student Elise Baranouski, who is pursuing a concentration in Government with a secondary in Global Health and Health Policy. Even though Elise worked with us for only 2 months, she immediately became an integral part of our team. She showed great enthusiasm and responsibility, and impressed us with the professional manner she handled all her tasks. Elise worked on the Program of Food Aid and Promotion of Healthy Nutrition implemented in schools around Greece, as well as on European projects, such as the Program “Research on Health Literacy among Ageing Population”. Moreover, on a personal level, Elise’s kind and polite character was greatly appreciated.
