Greeting cards for the elderly residents of the fire-ravaged regions by students of the DIATROFI program

April 25, 2019

Greeting cards with Easter drawings and paintings, created by small children, have been received, along with meals, by the fire-ravaged members of the 365+ Days of Care program. The program is being implemented by Prolepsis Institute, with the funding of SYN-ENOSIS. Many of the children who designed the cards come from refugee families and have lost contact with their own grandparents. They are kindergarten pupils of socioeconomically vulnerable areas, who receive the daily healthy meal offered by Prolepsis Institute within the framework of the DIATROFI Program .

With this simple, but emotional act, they wanted to empathize with the elderly people in the fire-ravaged areas and send them their wishes.

We wholeheartedly thank all kindergarten teachers and all children for the smiles they generously gave.
