Primary prevention programme of alcoholism and of alcohol abuse in young people in a highly touristic area, Halkidiki, Greece

This initiative programme of alcohol abuse prevention for young people and adults during their vacations in Northern Greece focused on the establishment of a communication line between European specialists in Health Education and people involved in the tourists' services business in Greece in order to profit from the interaction. For the purpose of the programme, rich campaign material was produced including pamphlets with messages against alcohol abuse in 6 European languages, radio and TV spots and specially designed T- shirts and distributed in hotels, campsites and airports.
