The Food Aid and Promotion of Healthy Nutrition Program successfully continues

The Food Aid and Promotion of Healthy Nutrition Program is progressing rapidly. More and more schools are being included in the program while the number of students receiving daily, healthy meals is increasing. As of today 29,258 students from 182 schools in Attica, Thessaloniki, Imathia, Patras and Thrace receive the specially designed meals.

The program, implemented by the Prolepsis Institute with a grant by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, continues for the third consecutive year. It aims to respond to the nutritional needs of 50000 students in over 300 public schools in socioeconomically vulnerable areas affected by the economic crisis throughout Greece.
