Prolepsis Institute will participate in the Panhellenic Conference on Occupational and Environmental Medicine which will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2016 in Athens, at the Golden Age Hotel.

 

Ms Pania Karnaki, Co-Director of Research and Head of the Department for International Programs will present the e-CAPACIT8 Program, which aims at strengthening occupational health professionals' capacities to improve the health of the ageing workforces. Prolepsis Institute participated as a partner at the e-CAPACIT8 Program contributing to the development of educational tools and materials for healthcare professionals and the creation of an electronic platform for the use and publication of educational materials. The e-CAPACIT8 Program was implemented under the 2nd European Health Program, 2008-2013, of the Directorate General for Health and Consumer Protection and was completed in August 2016.

 

In the Panhellenic Conference of Occupational and Environmental Medicine participate representatives from the scientific and academic sectors as well as representatives of health care institutions, healthcare professionals who deal with scientific or occupational health issues related to the workplace, doctors and medical residents, nurses, occupational psychologists, health visitors etc.
