Within the framework of the Program on Food Aid and Promotion of Healthy Nutrition DIATROFI, the Prolepsis Institute  is organizing a 4,5-hour training seminar on Tuesday April 24, 2018 at 15:00 in the Institute’s facilities (Frakoklisias 7, Marousi) on “promoting healthy eating habits at school: from theory to practice”.

 

The seminar is addressed to elementary school teachers and it will be presented by a Public Health medical doctor, a nutritionist and a specialist on health promotion. The following topics will be discussed: basic concepts and principles of healthy eating, importance of developing healthy eating as a child, techniques for changing eating habits at school, shaping healthy habits at school through activities, etc.

 

The aim of the seminar is to provide the teachers with useful knowledge and skills regarding the promotion of healthy nutrition  and physical activity.

Attendance is free charge and participation will be based on order of priority. A certificate will be issued upon  completion of the seminar.
