Matina Kleftaki

Matina Kleftaki is a Dietitian–Nutritionist, a graduate of Harokopio University, and holds an MSc in Molecular Nutrition. In 2023, she completed her PhD, having been awarded a scholarship from the Greek State Scholarships Foundation (IKY) during her doctoral studies.
Since 2016, she has been working as a private practitioner, providing personalized nutritional counseling and support to both children and adults. At the same time, she actively participates in research projects at Harokopio University in the fields of clinical nutrition, functional foods, and public health.
She has contributed to numerous national and European research projects. Her scientific work includes more than 15 publications in peer-reviewed international journals, authorship of scientific book chapters, and presentations at national and international conferences. In addition, she serves as a reviewer for international scientific journals in the fields of nutrition and public health.
She is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at Harokopio University and a Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of the Peloponnese.
Since September 2025, she has been working at the PROLEPSIS Institute, initially as a Dietitian for the “Nutrition Adventures” programme and subsequently as a Research Proposal Development Researcher.
