{"id":7843,"date":"2018-12-27T16:32:52","date_gmt":"2018-12-27T13:32:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.prolepsis.gr\/uncategorized\/vrhealthleaders\/"},"modified":"2022-12-01T15:16:37","modified_gmt":"2022-12-01T12:16:37","slug":"vrhealthleaders","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.prolepsis.gr\/en\/programs\/vrhealthleaders\/","title":{"rendered":"VRHealthLeaders"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t<b>A Multifaceted VR Learning Platform for Future Healthcare Leaders<\/b><b>&nbsp;<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t<b>VRHealthLeaders<\/b>&nbsp;is a two-year project (1\/5\/2021 &ndash; 30\/4\/2023) funded by the ERASMUS+ Programme of the European Union, which aims to facilitate the development of knowledge, skills and attitudes relevant to leadership and management in healthcare, incorporating human resource management, financial management, disaster management and quality processes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\tDigital solutions have the potential to radically transform education. Using virtual reality as a primary tool for leadership training can improve healthcare systems by broadening the experiences of healthcare leaders thus providing better outcomes, services and quality to patients across the EU. Virtual reality simulation offers educators the chance to provide students with experiential learning that would otherwise not be available to them.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\tThis VRHealthLeaders uses virtual reality to increase the leadership capabilities of future healthcare managers and policy makers in public health crises as the key theme of the training programme.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\tLeadership education within healthcare is vital to healthcare systems yet currently limited resources are available for the training of health care leaders on a global level. The issue of limited resources for training healthcare leaders has been further compounded by the recent shift to online and distance learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
