\n\tDigital HEalth liteRacy Education for vulnerable groups<\/o_p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

\n\tProlepsis Institute participates as a partner in the European program: Digital HEalth liteRacy Education for vulnerable groups – iHERE.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/o_p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n\t iHERE<\/span><\/b><\/span> is a two-year program (01\/11\/2020 – 30\/10\/2022), funded by the ERASMUS+ Programme of the European Union and aims to create a comprehensive, tailor made educational tool to increase the digital literacy levels of vulnerable groups.<\/o_p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n\tThe program is targeted to socially vulnerable groups –such as migrants, refugees, the unemployed, people <\/span><\/span>on <\/span><\/span>low-income and socially excluded groups.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>These groups seem to face various health issues due to lack of social support and difficulties in accessing the health system.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>Low levels of health literacy, lack of educational opportunities, physical and mental health needs of these groups <\/span><\/span>are areas that need further study.<\/span><\/span><\/o_p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n\tIn this context, the program aims to promote an educational program geared towards people from different social groups and to empower <\/span><\/span>adult education trainers <\/span><\/span>in the field with the appropriate tools and <\/span><\/span>resources. <\/o_p><\/p>\n

\n\tThe iHERE<\/strong> program consortium consists of 8 organizations from 6 countries: Belgium, Greece, Cyprus, Italy, Spain, Germany. <\/p>\n
