\n\tFor one more year, Prolepsis was honored to welcome a young student from Harvard University’s Institute of Politics as a part of the Director’s Internship Program. <\/p>\n

\n\tMaya AlMoussa is a rising junior at Harvard College, studying Molecular and Cellular Biology, with an interest in public health and medicine. During her 2-month internship at Prolepsis, Maya worked on projects related to Roma social issues and the EU-VET CARE<\/a> project, which examines barriers, facilitators, and training needs of healthcare professionals working with migrant\/refugee children. In addition, she  visited sites of various Prolepsis food-distribution programs (the Program on Food Aid and Promotion of Healthy Nutrition – DIATROFI<\/a> and the 365+ Days of Care<\/a> program), and attended the SNF Conference<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\n\tMaya hopes to enter the medical field as a physician and researcher in the public health world. When she returns to campus, she’ll continue working with the UNICEF club on campus and volunteering with elderly undergoing rehabilitation.           <\/p>\n

\n\tThe Harvard Institute of Politics Director's Internship program has been offering career-oriented internships for undergraduate students interested in politics, government, and public service in high-profile organizations around the world for the past 20 years. This is the seventh year that Prolepsis has participated in the program<\/a>, with numerous students expressing interest in joining and working with the Institute.<\/p>\n
