\n\tProlepsis Institute was present in an effort to promote the importance of volunteering, even during difficult times like the present.<\/p>\n
\n\tThe 9th Annual Celebration for Volunteering took place on the pedestrian walkway of Agios Paulos in Thiseion on June 5th 2010 under the slogan "AnaTIMISTE ton Ethelontismo" (ReEVALUATE\/ReHONOUR Volunteering).<\/p>\n
\n\tThe festival, which was held under the auspices of The City of Athens Youth and Sport Organization (ONA), was organized by AEGEE-Athina, AEGEE Piraeus, AIESEC, Evropaiki Ekfrasi (European Expression), EDRA, EKPIZO, Merimna Zois MKO (LIFE CARE NGO), the Greek Branch of Organizacion Internacional Nueva Acropolis, Disability NOW and PRAKSIS.<\/p>\n
\n\tAbout 60 NGOs attended the event. The public had the opportunity to be informed about the actions of all participating organizations, to talk to their representatives and have fun watching and participating in events such as interactive games, street theater and musical and dancing events.
