\n\tUnder the European Fund for the Integration of Third Country Nationals GREECE through the Greek Ministry of Interior Decentralization & E-government, the Institute of Preventive Medicine, Environmental and Occupational Health, Prolepsis, is organizing the Pan-European Conference on the Integration of Immigrants "Good practices in the sectors of Health, Welfare and Social Security" in Athens, Greece on June 27–28, 2011. <\/p>\n

\n\t <\/p>\n

\n\tInternational migration is an issue that greatly affects all Member States of the European Union and effective integration policies are essential. The conference aims to facilitate the exchange of good practices, experiences, and views among Member States on migrants' integration focusing on health and social care.<\/p>\n

\n\t <\/p>\n

\n\tRepresentatives from European national and regional authorities, academic institutions, research associations and the civil society in the field of migration, public health and social care will exchange their experiences and expertise in an effort to promote and strengthen the dialogue and contribute to establishing a multi-disciplinary partnership between EU Member states. <\/p>\n
