The participants were 250 people whose names were drawn by lot within the context of the partnership project between SKAI and LG: &ldquo;Life&rsquo;s Good&rdquo;. The conference was moderated by Professor Antonia Matalas, Director of the Laboratory of Nutrition and Clinical Dietetics.<\/div>\n<div>\n\t&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>\n\tDr. Christina Kastorini, &nbsp;member of the scientific team of the Prolepsis Institute, was one of the speakers. In her presentation, Dr. Kastorini &nbsp;focused on the new dietary guidelines addressed to the Greek population. The new dietary guidelines are presented in the National Dietary Guidelines, carried out by the Prolepsis Institute. The aim of the National Dietary Guidelines is to contribute to health promotion for the Greek population, by making the most of Greek nutritional tradition through modern scientific knowledge.<\/div>\n<div>\n\t&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>\n\tCurrent information on nutritional issues is presented with photos, diagrams and practical conclusions, in a comprehensible manner so that the National Dietary Guidelines can be easily understood by everyone.<\/div>\n<div>\n\t&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>\n\tThe National Dietary Guidelines are available on the website: www.diatrofikoiodigoi.gr<\/div>\n<div>\n\t&nbsp;<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Harokopion University in collaboration with SKAI and LG organized a conference on &#8220;Nutrition in the Mediterranean: health and welfare\u201d.
