\tProlepsis Institute will present the outcomes of the Programs DIATROFI and IROHLA at the 3rd European Conference on Health Literacy held on November 17-19, 2015 in Brussels. <\/p>\n
\tMs Constantina Zota, Health Promotion specialist, Co-Director of Research and Head of National Programs of Prolepsis Institute will hold a presentation on “Increasing Health Literacy in relation to nutrition among disadvantaged students: The DIATROFI Programme”. Ms Zota will introduce the educational activities implemented since 2012 by the DIATROFI Program and their impact on nutrition- related behavior of children and their families. <\/p>\n
\tMs Pania Karnaki, Co-Director of Research and Head of International Programs of Prolepsis Institute will hold a presentation on: “Information Communication Technologies (ICT) to the service of health literacy: e-training for better nutrition among older adults”. In her presentation she will demonstrate the significant role of technology on improving health literacy of older adults. Ms Karnaki will also present the results of the research conducted by the Prolepsis Institute within the framework of the IROHLA Program, for improving health literacy within the ageing population through the use of innovative tools used mainly in the private sector. <\/p>\n
