\n\tDecember 4, 2017<\/u><\/p>\n

\n\t\u03a4he 3rd Steering Group meeting of INHERIT Horizon 2020 Project took place on  November 29  – December 2, 2017, at the Central Building of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.<\/p>\n

\n\tDuring the course of the meeting the following topics were discussed: the progress achieved during the first two years of the project implementation, the dissemination of the research data, the electronic database of good practices that promote environmental sustainability and health and contribute to the health equity in the EU. Additionally, pilot programs which are focusing on living conditions, movement and consumption and are proposed to be implemented in the near future, were presented. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe partners hope that the implementation of the program INHERIT will give positive results. These results will set the foundations for the improvement of the health indicators, for addressing health inequalities and for supporting environmental sustainability, issues in focus of the European policy by 2040. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe Prolepsis Institute is partner of the research program “INHERIT, Intersectoral Health and Environment Research for Innovation” which is implemented within the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation “Horizon 2020”. The INHERIT project, financed by the EU, encourages societal behavior change by advancing living, moving, consuming scenarios for a more sustainable future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
