\n\tWe would like to thank The Hellenic Initiative Canada (THI Canada) for supporting students in Greece and our efforts through the DIATROFI Program. Thanks to the kind donation of THI Canada, 7 additional schools with 437 students participated in the DIATROFI Program for the school year 2017-2018. In addition, through the matching funds provided by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF), Founding Donor of the Program, the number of meals was doubled, supporting in that way a wider number of students.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Hellenic Initiative Canada, latest addition to The Hellenic Initiative Worldwide, was founded in the summer of 2016 by eminent entrepreneurs from the Greek community in Canada.  The mission of \u03a4\u0397\u0399 Canada is to provide funds to directly support food, health and education for those who need it most.  <\/p>\n

\n\tTHI supports the DIATROFI Program since 2015. With the grants offered by THI daily, food provision was secured for 1,266 students for the 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 school years. <\/p>\n
