Results of European Conference on: "Disparities in Public Health Training in the European Union: Tools for Harmonisation" 

A large number of newspapers published concerning the conference and more extensively concerning the results that Dr Athena Linos presented on the lack of harmonisation of the training of health professionals in the European Union. They also focused on the disparities in the European Union in terms of medical specialties and the need for harmonisation in that respect, as well as the need for Greece to "catch-up" especially as far as public health related specialties are considered.

The major newspapers that have published are:

In the Conference more than 120 people participated, most of them health professionals, and also students, journalists and representatives from the civil service.
