"Adjust to the Change": Informative Event regarding Antismoking Law
The Institute of Preventive Medicine, Environmental and Occupational Health, Prolepsis, is holding an event in view of the forthcoming law, banning smoking in all indoor spaces, effective in Greece July 1st, 2009.
The event, titled "Adjust to the Change", is organized under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Health and Social Solidarity. It will take place on Tuesday, June 23rd 2009, at 1:00 pm at Karatzas Megaron, National Bank of Greece, 1st floor Auditorium, 82-84 Aiolou Street in Athens.
The main purpose of the event is to inform employers, employees and unions, and call for their consensus on the implementation of the antismoking law. It is part of the National Action Plan against smoking, focusing on the right all workers have to a healthy, smoke-free environment.
The event is open to the public, and free of charge.
