Dr Athena Linos is an Associate Professor of Epidemiology in the Medical School, University of Athens, Greece. Her medical specialty is Epidemiology and Social Medicine. She has obtained MD from Athens medical School and MPH from Harvard School of Public Health and PhD from University of Athens in the field of Epidemiology.
She possessed various long-term academic positions and she is member in numerous scientific associations. Moreover, since 1991 she coordinates and organizes several research programs. Her auctorial work comprises of 46 publications in international journals, 15 publications in Greek journals, 23 announcements in international journals with published abstracts, 18 announcements without extensive publication and more than 60 announcements in Greek conferences.
